To maintain a safe and sufficient blood supply it is important to communicate with the community, existing donors and other stakeholders. GAP has produced some materials* and resources that can be customised for National Society blood programs (ie. branded with RC/RC logos, translated, edited etc). We can also email design files on request.

Donors who are temporarily postponed from blood donation are more likely to return to donate if they understand why. We recommend this is used in conjunction with a call-back system, to notify donors when they are eligible to donate.
